The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi started as a Military Rehabilitation Camp for prisoners of war returning from 2nd World War. After recognition by the Colonial Medical Services in 1945, it became a Medical establishment known as Igbobi Orthopaedic Hospital. In name, the hospital has undergone a metamorphosis from Igbobi Hospital to royal Orthopaedic Hospital and now National Orthopaedic Hospital. Executives initiative celebrated their February birthday celebration by visiting the different sections and talking with the kids. We also partnered with Antisuicide and depression squad who sent their representatives to give free mental health talk to the parents and children. Gift items, clothes,toiletries, etc were donated to the hospital. Furthermore, the discharge bills of 2 kids summing up to 425,000 was paid off and extra funds given to their parents.
